Suzaine Greenshields

Suzaine has been a working member of the Waitakere City Community Art Council since 1981, serving 15 years on the committee helping in many art related initiatives in the community and is also a working member of the Titirangi Painters.

Suzaine works mainly in acrylic, but experiments in all mediums. Specialising in domestic animals and wildlife paintings, which have proven very popular. Another favourite is to paint bold contemporary works in the narrative genre depicting historic and modern day issues in New Zealand. Doesn't pursue a lot of competition work but has however received a number of awards at various levels within the art community.

Suzaine paints when time allows but it will always compete with the love of her horses. Work is sold both locally and overseas
