The Falls Hotel is an historic jewel in Waitakere's crown. It's first class setting has inspired owners Garry Bates, Alan Parry (ex London's Ivy restaurant) and Nina Parry to bring a quality dining experience and an award-winning menu to West Auckland.
It's kitchen team has achieved the New Zealand Beef and Lamb Hallmark of Excellence many times over and was awarded the Gold Plate award again for 2006 and 2007.
Now it has a Western Leader Best of the West accolade to add to it's boast list.

The Falls opened under its current management in 2005 though a restaurant has operated on the site since 1998.
The future looks good with the addition of consultant Chef Phil Neverman.

In pursuit of wine and food matching excellence
Invited restaurants took part in the Corbans Perfect Match. The Falls was selected to participate.This was the biggest wine and food matching competition of 2007.
We were asked to create a Corbans Perfect Match menu, matching our dishes with a range of Corbans Private Bin wines including Framingham Rieslings.
This was a judged competition, with the highest scoring restaurants rewarded.
150 restaurants competed and were judged in six regions.
There was also an opportunity for the customers to be involved by voting online for their favourite matching.

One of the judges, Mark Polglase of Pernod Ricard was particularly impressed with the service, food and presentation: "The service was very good; calming, patient and friendly. The food scored very highly and presentation was stunning. Of all the restaurants I reviewed, The Falls got the highest marks for presentation, a visual spectacle of imagination and innovation."
The Falls Restaurant was awarded a ‘Copper Ladle for Excellence'.
We also achieved ‘Peoples Choice for New Zealand'
